HATBORO, PA — Charles Jagger has seen enough.
For the past few months, the bright night lights coming from the new Dunkin' Donuts on South York Road has caused havoc for nearby residents like Jagger.
Remember that Seinfeld episode for Kenny Rogers' roasted chicken. Kinda something like that.
"It's a ridiculous amount of light and really inconsiderate to a neighborhood that the owner states he wants to be a part of," Jagger told Patch recently.
Borough officials are addressing residents' concerns after receiving three complaints in August over a "perceived lighting issue" at the new Dunkin location at 256 S. York Road.
This week, officials provided an update to residents.
Borough officials said they remain in communication with Dunkin' and recently received a response from them after continuing to reach out.
"They are actively working through the lighting issue, as well as several other project-related items," officials said. "While we are not quite ready to share all of the details or what the final outcome will look like, we want our residents to know that this matter remains a priority for borough staff."
