HATBORO, PA — The borough is expected to add eight new businesses in the near future.
The Barth Consulting Group — which was brought on to boost the borough's downtown district — appeared before the Hatboro Borough Council on Monday night for a presentation.
The consulting group said that four new businesses have recently opened: Saber De Puebla, Nakama Sushi & BBQ, Veil Salon, and Cocomon World Collectibles.
Barth Consulting told the council that eight new businesses are opening over the next three months.
Three are planned to open in November: Sumatra Cafe, Sylvara Labs, and the River & Roan American Bistro.
The Iron Oven is expected to open in early December where Ross & Co. used to be located. The Mulan Head Spa is expected to open in January.
Barth Consulting said that four businesses are in the process of working to open down the road.
They include Casa De Fehu, the Turkish Cafe, and Papa John's pizza.
