Penn Mutual Life Insurance Welcomes Riders of The Long Road Home Project Back to Washington, D.C.

HORSHAM, Pa. – November 1, 2012 – The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company showed their continued support of The Long Road Home Project on Sunday, October 14, at its final stop in Washington, D.C. The Long Road Home Project, sponsored by Penn Mutual, is a 90-day cross-country bike ride to raise money and awareness for military veterans transitioning back to civilian life. 

Starting their ride in Aberdeen, Wash., the five veterans cycled more than 4,200-miles through 12 states to their final destination in Washington, D.C.

“Penn Mutual is extremely proud of these five veterans for making this excursion on behalf of military veterans everywhere,” said Denise Flannery, SVP of Strategic Marketing, Planning and Communications at Penn Mutual. “After 90 days on the road, we are glad to see these men and women made it to Washington safely and are honored to have been supporting the riders and their cause throughout their journey.”
