There is still no start date determined for the bridge replacement project, borough officials said.
Montgomery County had stated that construction of the bridge replacement project was supposed to start last year. However, the project was postponed until this year due to Aqua's water main relocation.
At a council meeting last March, Montgomery County officials told the council that the deteriorating Moreland Avenue Bridge needed to be replaced. Officials said the span was declared "structurally defective" and has a rating of 4 with zero being the lowest.
The project is expected to take a year.
