Assistant Hatboro-Horsham Schools Superintendent Retiring

Monica J. Taylor announced that she will retire after the school year. She has served the Hatboro-Horsham district for 22 years.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Hatboro-Horsham School District's assistant superintendent has announced that she's going to call it a career at the end of the school year.

Monica J. Taylor announced that she will retire on July 27, after 36 years as a public school educator, and 22 years with the school district.

“Though nothing I could say comes close to matching the undeniably strong and positive affection I have for this community, I will leave my post enriched by rewarding relationships and proud of joint accomplishments,” Taylor said in a post on the district's Facebook page. “I will forever remain a Hatter at heart and will miss everyone immensely.”

Taylor had served as principal of Crooked Billet Elementary School.

"HHSD congratulates Dr. Taylor and wishes her well on her retirement," the school district said.

Hatboro officials expressed their gratitude to Taylor.

"Join the Borough in wishing Dr. Taylor all the best as she retires," the borough said in a Facebook post. "She touched so many lives in Hatboro and she will be missed."
