Bandits Who Stole 96 Bananas Caught In Hatboro

Hatboro Police said two suspects were identified after taking the bananas from the Wawa convenience store on South York Road.

HATBORO, PA — Two bandits didn't get to enjoy the fruits of their labor for very long, police said.

The Hatboro Borough Police Department has identified two men who allegedly stole 96 bananas from the Wawa at the corner of Horsham and York roads.

Police reported the crime on Saturday that they were seeking two suspects for the retail theft in which they got away in a black Hyundai Santa Cruz with bunches of bananas.

Police did not identify the suspects or say how the bandits were able to take all the bananas from the convenience store.
