Blair Mill Road Getting New Traffic Signal

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Sometimes making a left turn out of any shopping center or neighborhood onto a busy street can often be difficult. The wait may take forever and the turn can be tricky for motorists.

Horsham Township officials feel your pain.

So township officials said Friday that they have an early Christmas present for motorists: some left-turn relief.

Township officials said that motorists may have noticed some work being done on Blair Mill Road at the driveways to the Horsham Gate and Willow Grove Pointe shopping centers.

"You may also know it is very difficult making left turns out of these centers, left turns into the centers or going straight across from center to center," officials said. "Well, we have an early holiday gift for you."

Township officials said a new traffic signal is being installed.

The concrete is being poured and the control box has been installed.

"We just await the arrival of the signal poles and arms from the manufacturer which should be soon," township officials said. "The new signal will make the intersection much more safe for motorists and pedestrians."
