Blair Mill Road Traffic Signal Debuts In Horsham

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Trying to cross from the Willow Pointe Shopping Center into Horsham Gate was a constant challenge for motorists for years.

But that issue has finally been resolved.

Township officials have announced that a new traffic light is now operational on Blair Mill Road at the entrances to the Horsham Gate and Willow Pointe shopping centers.

Officials stated though that there will be times when motorists will be sitting at a red light when it is clear to make a left or go straight.

They said the traffic signal was not installed for convenience but for vehicle and pedestrian safety.

The signal also communicates with the signal at Welsh Road and Blair Mill Road so normally there shouldn’t be any issues.

"But we all know technology, it is great as long as it’s working correctly," township officials said.
