Stockton's departure is the first for the council since January 2023 when Nicole Shay replaced the late Aleta Ostrander on the seven-member board.

"This rewarding position is perfect for anyone who loves to be involved in the community and who wants to give back to Hatboro," borough officials said.

To qualify for the council position, applicants must be a resident of Hatboro Borough (i.e. pay taxes to the Borough of Hatboro).

Anyone interested in applying for the council post should submit a resume and a cover letter to Borough Manager Diane Hegele at dhegele@myhatboro.org or in person at Borough Hall on or before March 21.
