Borough Manager Wears Many Hats In Hatboro

HATBORO, PA —Diane Hegele has done it all for decades as part of the borough's administration.

And if anyone wonders how many hats she wears in Hatboro, they found out at Monday night's Borough Council meeting.

Borough Council approved numerous appointments to its boards and commissions, administration, and staff with some coming as no surprise —including the many for Hegele.

Hegele was appointed as borough manager, borough secretary, open records officer, deputy property maintenance inspector, and zoning officer by the council. She also oversees the borough's public works department.

Meanwhile, Kate Valesky was appointed as fire marshal and property maintenance inspector.

• April Mount for a term of one year.

• Accepted the resignation of Alexander Kalnajs.
• Appointed Bill Rollin for a term of three years.
