Boys Lacrosse: Round Two

The Hatboro-Horsham boys lacrosse team beat visiting Haverford High School Tuesday by a score of 9-3. Pat Downing, Jimmy Durkin and Jake Durkin led the Hatters offensively. Trevor Downing, Jimmy Murphy, and Kyle Mullen each contributed. Dom Defazio, Tyler Gehlhaus, and Jake Cresta led the Hatters defensively, as Marc Poust was solid in net. Steve Palo dominated on face-offs, winning 11 out of 16. Palo and Defazio led the Hatters in ground balls with eight each. The Hatters will face 12th seeded Penncrest in the second round of the district playoffs, Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Hatters Stadium
