The “Let’s Make a Deal” Policy of the Hatboro-Horsham School Board Needs to End

The "Let's Make a Deal" Policy of the Hatboro-Horsham School Board Needs to End

The policy of behind the scene, closed-door deal making that is characteristic of the Hatboro-Horsham School Board once again demonstrates the problem that inevitably arises with the stranglehold of the Republican monopoly in Horsham (Superintendent Defends Nepotism Claims, http://horsham.patch.com/articles/superintendent-defends-hiring-school-b...). It’s obvious by their behavior that they feel they don’t have to answer to anyone. As the ratings of our schools plummet, which have a direct relationship to the value of our properties, as well as; the quality of education that our students have available, and with no consideration for the participation of the residents of Hatboro and/or Horsham, cronyism and nepotism is the policy of the School Board and Administration.

It’s time for a change and time for representation of all the residents of Hatboro and Horsham on the School Board. The Horsham Democratic Committee is proud to present our candidates for Hatboro-Horsham School Board. Our candidates are committed to an open and transparent School Board in which all residents have an opportunity to participate in the development of a superior school system that best serves our community and our children.
