Byberry Road Targeted For Pothole Repairs

HATBORO, PA —Byberry Road is among 45 state highways and roads that will undergo repairs for deteriorated pavement this week.

Crews will restrict travel lanes on Byberry Road to patch potholes, PennDOT and state Rep. Nancy Guenst said.

Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews.

PennDOT reminds motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.pa.gov and clicking on “Submit Concern”. To date, District 6 has received more than 1,600 customer concerns regarding potholes through PennDOT’s Customer Care Center.

As of Jan. 1, PennDOT has used more than 551 tons of asphalt to repair potholes across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
