Chesterbrook Academy® Preschoolers Donate Food & Clothing This Holiday
Students held food and clothing drives to benefit Cradles to Crayons and H.A.T. Packs

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Horsham recently donated winter clothing items to Cradles to Crayons, which provides children living in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive. Over the past few weeks, students held a donation drive and collected hats, gloves, and scarves. At the end of the collection, students organized the donations and prepared them for delivery to the nonprofit.
In addition to the winter clothing drive, students also held a food drive to benefit Helping Around Town (H.A.T.) Packs, an organization that partners with public schools, community organizations, local congregations, business, and individual contributors, to help fill weekend hunger gaps. Through monetary, food, and resource donations, the H.A.T. Packs program provides packs filled with nonperishable breakfast, lunch, snack, and beverage items to school children who face food insecurity. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back to their community and helping others, especially during the holiday season.
