"Colonial Land Tenure in Hatboro and Vicinity & the Settlement of Horsham Township"

The Millbrook Society announces its newest publication, which is a compendium of two books written by renowned educator Charles Harper Smith

The book features a combined index making it an extraordinary repository of Hatboro and Horsham history. Smith’s excellent and well documented writings, including early landowner descriptions and maps on the formation and development of the neighboring settlements through the 18th century, are an extremely valuable asset not only to historians and genealogists but to residents and members of nearby communities interested in the history of the intersection of Montgomery, Philadelphia, and Bucks Counties.

Mrs. Helen Stubbs Smith, Charles' wife, was instrumental in forming The Millbrook Society. By releasing this new book on the 70th anniversary of Charles Harper Smith's passing, the Society takes great pride in continuing his legacy in educating and preserving local history.

Requested donation is $20. Proceeds support the mission-driven work of the Millbrook Society. Call 215-957-1877 or email millbrooksociety@gmail.com to order your copy of this local history gem!
