Collett also serves as the chairwoman of the Democratic caucus in the state Senate.

"I am deeply honored and grateful for your trust to continue representing our incredible community in the Pennsylvania State Senate," Collett said on Wednesday. "To every volunteer who knocked on doors, every supporter who made calls, and every voter who made their voice heard: this win belongs to all of us. Together, we’re going back to Harrisburg to keep fighting for strong working families, accessible healthcare, top-quality schools, and a safer, more affordable PA for everyone."

Cerrato — who first defeated longtime GOP incumbent Todd Stephens — won her second re-election bid as state representative in the 151st Legislative District.

Cerrato cited front porch conversations, and community celebrations she's attended.

"So much work happens behind the scenes to make our elections possible, and your dedication deserves recognition," she told her constituents. "I may have my name on the door, but everything we accomplish is truly a team effort. I'm incredibly proud of what we've accomplished together, grateful for the relationships we've built, and excited for what's ahead."

In the 152nd Legislative District, the longtime Democratic incumbent and former Hatboro mayor Nancy Guenst won another term as state representative.

"I’m very thankful for all who came out," Guenst told Patch on Wednesday. "The trifecta in Harrisburg is also extremely important for getting things done in Pennsylvania. I look forward to getting back to work for everyone. There is a lot to do."
