HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The demolition of the old Keith Valley Middle School is nearly complete.

The Hatboro-Horsham School Board received an update on the project at a recent meeting, along with what's in store for capital projects this summer.

Jamie Lynch, construction manager from CHA, told the school board and the administration that the demolition of the old district administration building has been completed.

The school board was told that the demolition of the old KVMS is about 70 percent finished and progressing as scheduled.

  • Exterior work includes the athletic track, scheduled for completion in August, with the hope that its first usage can be in spring 2027.
  • Simmons Elementary Pool Decommissioning Project, which is on track to be completed in fall 2026.
  • Hatboro-Horsham High School tennis court replacement, which is on track to be completed at the end of the summer.
  • The Simmons’ elevator replacement will be completed in August.
  • The Hallowell Elementary School’s roof replacement is near completion, and Hallowell’s de-escalation room is completed.
