Dempster's Donates Vehicle To Needy Horsham Motorist
The Hatboro business teamed up with the Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation for the giveaway on Friday. Find out who got the vehicle.

HATBORO, PA —They had a car to give away.
Six months ago, Dempster's Quality Car Care reached out to the Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation saying they had a car to give away, but they needed some help in finding a needy driver.
"They wanted to give it to someone in the community who truly needed it," said Christina Baker, the foundation's administrative and communications assistant. "We helped him out and we gifted that car. He then reached out to us again a few months ago with another car to give out —this time an SUV."

The foundation received 50 nominations. And on Friday they gave away the vehicle.
! We are now working with Dan Dempster, owner, and figuring out who of the nominees will be gifted the car. He is an amazing man and honestly to see someone not only donate one care but now TWO, he is truly doing A LOT for this community!

Karen Poust, a former long-time Hatboro-Horsham School District cheerleader coach, was gifted the car Friday morning.
She is a hospice nurse and has been without a car, Baker said. Poust had been either renting a car or borrowing the vehicle owned by her daughter, who nominated Poust.
