Driver Injured As Vehicle Hits Horsham Home
The Horsham Township Police Department is investigating the incident which caused a gas leak and closed Wynmere Drive Wednesday afternoon.
HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Horsham Township Police Department is investigating an incident in which a vehicle hit a home and caused a gas leak Wednesday afternoon.
Horsham Community Police Services said Thursday morning that emergency crews responded to a call at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday for a vehicle accident on Wynmere Drive.
The vehicle left the roadway and impacted a home on the 90 block of Wynmere Drive, Horsham ChATs said.

The impact resulted in a gas leak requiring Wymere Drive to be closed to traffic for more than an hour.
The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, Horsham ChATs said.

The Horsham Township Fire Department, EMS, PECO, and mutual aid partners responded to the accident.
The fire department returned at 6:36 p.m. Wednesday to the scene to be on standby as the vehicle was removed from the home.
The incident is currently under investigation, Horsham ChATs said.
The homeowners were not injured and were assisted on the scene by the township's Department of Emergency Management.
