Drug Take-Back Day Set In Horsham

The program, by the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, is designed to get opioids and other potentially dangerous drugs out of circulation.

HORSHAM, PA — National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, Oct. 27, and police in Horsham are ready to help get unneeded pills out of circulation.

Residents are invited to bring their expired and unused medications to the Giant Food Store at 314 Horsham Rd. The event is set to run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The day is sponsored by the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, which works with local law enforcement in an effort to reduce the amount of dangerous opioids and other drugs in circulation.
