Hatboro celebrated Earth Day Saturday at the Pennypack Community Center with booths, exhibits and Bindy.
HATBORO, PA —The borough celebrated Earth Day Saturday with a special say at the Pennypack Community Center that focused on various initiatives aimed at preserving our planet.

Mayor Tim Schultz gave a presentation on energy conservation and various booths and tables offered everything from plants to honey.

Programs also provided insight on proper waste disposal and recycling techniques through informative presentations utilizing the Borough’s Recycling Truck and Recycling Bins funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
The Hatboro EAC offered demos, exhibitors, vendors, food, and activities for kids and adults.
