Come join us to learn and experience the ELDOA method. It is a safe and non-impact technique that uses total body active muscular lengthening to decompress the spine and stimulate all of the body’s major systems through the connective tissue.
The 4 week series is structured to include ELDOA for each segment of the spine – lumbar, thoracic, cervical – and the exercises are beneficial to anyone and everyone taking the class. This training alone was successful in slowing down and even reversing the effects of scoliosis. It is now used by a variety of people (professional athletes, children, seniors, exercise enthusiasts) for countless benefits including; pain relief, postural alignment and awareness, spinal decompression, better neurological and endocrine function and full body fitness.

About the Method:
ELDOA, which translates to LOADS (longitudinal osteoarticular decoaptation system) was developed by world renowned Osteopath, Guy Voyer, initially to provide rehabilitation for people suffering from scoliosis. Each posture was developed with surgeon-like precision, working on decompressing individual spinal segments. This precision bring an added diagnostic benefit to the training: it exposes specific weaknesses and give the practitioner the information needed to tackle their individual issues even after one class.

About your Instructor
Amy Yates grew up in chilly Edmonton, Canada with a passion for movement and human physiology. With cold weather and an inspiring family, Amy immersed herself in dance and academics, competing internationally on the Canadian Dance Team and obtaining a Pilates teaching certificate at 16 years old. Amy continued on to dance professionally for modern dance companies in San Francisco and NYC and work with Pilates clients while continually educating herself on anatomy and physiology. Shortly after becoming a nationally certified personal trainer, Amy realized that the complexity of human anatomy, physiology and psychology required to predictably lead clients to their health and wellness goals far surpassed the education she had as a Pilate’s instructor and entry level personal trainer. With strong motivation to truly help people and to recover herself from years of strenuous professional dance, Amy began to seek more in depth training. Through some good luck and guidance, Amy found many highly motivating and intelligent teachers and began her education in osteopathy, nutrition and neuroscience through a 3 year osteopathy program with world-renowned Guy Voyer, 6 course certification program with Postural Restoration Institute, and on-going nutrition classes with Liam Springer, in addition to many hours of personal research. Recently Amy got married and moved out of NYC to Hatboro where she is furthering her education, teaching and working with clients.
