  1. What are the top issues currently facing your position and how do you plan to address them?

Maintaining a high quality of life for our residents has been the top priority since I was first elected. This includes keeping our township taxes one of the lowest in all of Montgomery County, supporting strong police and fire services with all the equipment and training needed to keep our township residents safe and secure, and ensuring that Horsham remains a top place to live, work and play for all our residents.

2. Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your position:

The redevelopment of the former Naval Air Base continues to be a top priority. In my positions as a Councilman and a Member of the Horsham Land Redevelopment Authority, we have formed a close relationship with the Navy and are now very close to resolving the many issues and obstacles required to begin the transfer of the property to Horsham Township. The decisions we make now will have a lasting effect on the future of our township. I believe my knowledge and experience in this matter are crucial to a successful transfer.

3. What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?

Knowledge and experience matter. For 20 years, I have happily served the residents of Horsham Township. Over those 20 years, I have strived to ensure steady and responsible growth. It takes hard work to ensure our property values remain high and our business parks remain filled while maintaining top-notch parks and trails.

I will work to continue the expansion of our community facilities and encourage new businesses to call Horsham their home. We must wisely plan and prepare for a potentially difficult economy going forward. I have worked closely with our Management team to bring Horsham through past difficult economies without burdening our residents. Therefore, I will use my knowledge and experience to keep Horsham the best place to raise a family.
