HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The race for the Hatboro-Horsham School Board was split between party lines during Tuesday's primary election

With 27.3 percent casting votes Tuesday, the four Hatboro-Horsham school board incumbents are the projected winners on the Democratic ticket, according to unofficial results from the Montgomery County Board of Elections.

Hatboro-Horsham school board members Denise "DJ" Schultz, Theresa E. Brown, Susan Hunsinger-Hoff, and School Board President David P. Brown were seeking re-election.

They will face Republicans Vince Varallo, Janine Solley, Clarice Schillinger, and former Horsham Township Police Chief Bill Daly.

All eight candidates had cross-filed to run on the Democratic and Republican ballots for four, four-year terms on the seven-member school board.

Democratic Ballot - Four, four-year terms

  • David P. Brown — 2,197 votes
  • Bill Daly — 467 votes
  • Denise "DJ" Schultz — 2,371 votes
  • Theresa E. Brown — 2,411 votes
  • Vince Varallo — 302 votes
  • Susan Hunsinger-Hoff — 2,368 votes
  • Janine Solley — 603 votes
  • Clarice Schillinger — 383 votes

Republican Ballot - Four, four-year terms

  • David P. Brown — 383 votes
  • Bill Daly — 1,891 votes
  • Denise "DJ" Schultz — 484 votes
  • Theresa E. Brown — 361 votes
  • Vince Varallo — 1,759 votes
  • Susan Hunsinger-Hoff — 415 votes
  • Janine Solley — 1,663 votes
  • Clarice Schillinger — 1,656 votes
