Emergency Electrical Repairs Slated For Hatboro Friday

PECO is expected to perform the work most of Friday along East Montgomery Avenue near Silvio's Deli, borough officials said.

HATBORO, PA —PECO will be performing emergency electrical repairs on East Montgomery Avenue during the morning rush hour and the start of the evening rush hour, borough officials said.

PECO said the work will take place in the 100 block of East Montgomery Avenue, primarily outside of Silvio's Deli (100 E. Montgomery Ave.)

The work begins at 9 a.m. and is expected to last until 3:30 p.m. Friday and Monday. The work had started on Thursday. PECO told borough officials that the work is expected to take place daily until completed.

During this time, the westbound lane of East Montgomery Avenue will be closed and flaggers will be in place to direct traffic.

Residents and motorists should seek an alternate route during work hours to avoid delays.

If work needs to continue until Friday, the borough will immediately notify residents and business owners when the information is received from PECO.

PECO is not expecting any power outages associated with this work at this time. Any residents or business owners who experience outages during this work should immediately call PECO at 1-800-841-4141.
