Horsham Day will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012. Horsham Day is an annual event organized by Horsham Township Parks and Recreation Department and the Greater Horsham Chamber of Commerce. Come join a thousand of your friends and neighbors for a day of fun, where residents enjoy games, outdoor entertainment and local cuisine, carrying on the tradition of the family fair.
The day begins with a 5K Walk/Run at Carpenter Park, followed by a youth fishing contest at Kohler Park. The rest of Horsham Day unfolds at 11:00AM in the Deep Meadow Park area with tents manned by local business, municipal departments and non-profit groups. An inflatable, child-sized amusement park draws many families, as does the Horsham Lions’ dunk tank. Families are also able to enjoy the fire department’s open house and pony rides right next door. Throughout the day volleyball, softball and hockey tournaments give athletes a day in the sun. The car show, games and music from local bands, interspersed with sessions of Cow Plop Bingo and war re-enactors demonstrating their firearms make the day a complete community event.
