The Hatboro-Horsham Winter Ensemble will host 16 scholastic and independent indoor color guard units in a Mid Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN) sponsored competition. MAIN serves the color guard community of PA, NJ and NY.
Indoor Color Guard or Winter Guard is also called the Sport of the Arts because it brings music to life through performance in a competitive format. Teams perform highly choreographed and athletic dances while twirling and swirling rifles, sabers, and flags.
The competition will feature other local schools includingWissahickon, Upper Moreland, Council Rock, North Pennand Archbishop Wood. independent groups Field of View,N8, True Colors, Fusion,and Evolution, plus Phoenixville, North Plainfield, Triton, Someville, West Orange High Schools,and the South Brunswick Visual Ensemble.
