Queen of the Sun will open the Pennypack Farm Sustainability Expo and Movie Series on February 14, at the Ambler Theater, 108 E Butler Ave, Ambler, PA 19002. The movie, Queen of the Sun, highlights the life of honeybees and those that care for them. In keeping with the theme of the night, the Expo will feature beekeepers, honey tasting and local honey for sale. Other exhibitors will highlight sources for fresh local food and organizations that help keep Montgomery County's open space for honeybees and people.
After the movie, a panel discussion features noted beekeepers Jim Bobb and Trey Flemming; Bryn Athyn horticulturist Danielle Odhner; and Pennypack Farm's farm director and beekeeper Andy Andrews.
