Evelyn G. "Evie" Ottey of Hatboro

The long-time bartender died Sunday at Abington Memorial Hospital.

Evelyn G. "Evie" Ottey, of Hatboro died on Sept. 2 at Abington Memorial Hospital. The beloved wife of Robert A. Ottey Jr., Mrs. Ottey was a Washington D.C. native. 

She graduated from Villa Joseph Marie High School in Holland and worked as a bartender at the  and Richie's Bar and Grill for many years. The always-cheerful Ottey greeted her customers with a pleasant smile. 

When she was not working, Ottey enjoyed gardening, sewing and riding the family's Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ottey is survived by her children, Alfred Brough (Lo) of Warminster, Ronald Brough and Kelly Bellomom (Frank) of Washington Crossing, Barbara Ottey (Marc) of Warrington and Robert Ottey III of Hatboro; and seven grandchildren.

Her funeral service and interment will be private at the family's request.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ottey's name to Aark Foundation for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, 1531 Upper Stump Road, Chalfont PA 18914
