Co-dependency is the fallacy of trying to control inner feelings by controlling people, things, and events on the outside. To the co-dependent, control or the lack of it is central to every aspect of life. Codependent characteristics serve a temporary purpose – self-protection from physical and/or emotional pain. Eventually we find that we become dependent on the behaviors that we thought would protect us and eventually accept them as part of who we are.

We reach out to those who struggle with life controlling issues that affect major areas of their life due primarily to drugs and alcohol. We are also a support to the loved ones who are being impacted by the addict’s destructive lifestyle. Our meetings are open to men and women who are seeking transformation in their lives.

MISSION

LIFEiLEAD is a Faith-based organization that recognizes the value in leadership development, therefore, our Mission is to Biblically educate, equip, develop, and empower men and women who have been freed from the bondage of addiction through Jesus Christ with knowledge, competencies, and skills to become passionate leaders with integrity in all areas of their lives.

VISION

To provide opportunities for formal education and encourage continual autonomous learning to a community of men and women whose lives have been holistically transformed out of the bondage of addiction through the power of Jesus Christ, who can then further enrich their personal and professional lives through investing and discipling others in their jobs, communities and homes.

LIFEiLEAD Does Not:

• Replace other recovery/support groups
• Focus in on one denomination
• Turn anyone away
