Farm And Fisherman Restaurant Replacement Coming

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The property of the former Farm and Fisherman Tavern — closed for over a year — will have a new occupant soon.

Township officials announced that a seafood restaurant will replace the popular Farm and Fisherman restaurant, which shut suddenly at its 575 Horsham Road location on July 1, 2024.

Officials said the new business will be a new concept by Gallo’s Seafood called The Scratch Kitchen by Gallo's.

"Many of us know Gallo’s Seafood in Northeast Philadelphia," officials said. "We are delighted they chose Horsham Township for their new concept. We can’t wait until they open, but right now they are hiring and need to fill positions.

The Scratch Kitchen by Gallo’s won't be just a restaurant, its owners said.

"It’s a neighborhood place," the restaurant said. "A gathering table. A new chapter."

More details and an official opening date will be announced soon, the restaurant said.

Farm and Fisherman operated for seven years as it offered cuisine supporting local farmers.

The Farm and Fisherman Tavern + Market was the second iteration of Chef/Owner Josh & Colleen Lawler's established BYOB in Philadelphia. In partnership with Chef Todd Fuller, they aspire to pair preparations of regional produce and proteins with carefully selected wine, spirits, and local drafts in a comfortable, family-friendly, tavern environment, its website stated.

Farm and Fisherman has a location in Cherry Hill, N.J.
