The 40-year-old died at the scene, police said. There was a passenger inside the Honda who was transported by VSMC Ambulance to an area hospital, along with the driver of the Audi. Both were treated and released.

It's not yet clear why the 40-year-old was outside of his vehicle and standing on the road, or why the driver of the Audi did not see him.
