Fiery Car Disrupts Monday Commute Near Hatboro

A car burst into flames on Route 611 in Warrington. Officials aren't sure why.

A car burst into flames on Route 611 in Warrington at about 3 p.m. on Monday while the driver was headed to work, fire officials confirmed.

It is not known what caused the blaze.

There were no injuries.

The Warrington Fire Company responded to the scene and put out the fire very quickly, officials said.

Witnesses said they heard one of the tires explode just after the car started smoking. Bystanders rushed up and helped the woman out of her car before the fire started.

The incident took place near the Valley Square shopping center.
