Filmmaker to Attend Screening Fundraiser for HHEF

"Against the Sun" is co-produced by Kurt Graver, a 2004 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School.

A new film co-produced by a Hatboro-Horsham graduate will be shown during a special event this Sunday to benefit the Hatboro-Horsham Education Foundation.

“Against the Sun,” scheduled for a national release in selected cities on Jan. 24, is co-produced by Kurt Graver, a 2004 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School.

The film tells the true story of three World War II Navy airmen who crash land their torpedo bomber in the South Pacific. “Against incredible odds, these three virtual strangers must survive storms, sharks, starvation and each other as they try to sail more than a thousand miles to safety,” an announcement about the event said.
