Final Concert In Park Canceled In Horsham Due To Storms
Horsham officials are canceling the last show of the summer due to heavy rain and thunderstorms expected on Thursday night.
HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The last show of the township's Concerts in the Park series is being canceled.
Township officials said the event at the Lukens Park Pavilion is being canceled due to inclement weather expected on Thursday evening.
"Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for us this summer but we hope to continue our Concerts in the Park Summer Series next year," officials said.

Township officials thanked residents, performers, and the food trucks that came out for the first concert in June.
Horsham ChATs said that The National Weather Service is calling for an 85 percent chance of shower starting after lunch Thursday and running through the evening hours.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, N.J., said that showers and thunderstorms are expected mainly after 2 p.m.
There's also a flooding threat on Thursday from scattered yet severe storms that could bring damaging winds, hail and even an isolated tornado, the National Weather Service reported.
New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
