Fireworks Planned For National Night Out In Horsham

HORSHAM, PA — Fireworks are coming to Horsham as part of the National Night Out activities next month.

The annual event will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 7. The fireworks will be a make up of the celebrations previously planned for Horsham Day.

National Night Out events are held around the country and described by officials as follows: "This is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances."

The events are free of charge and typically includes food and drinks, music, and numerous community tables where members of the public have a chance to meet local police, fire, and EMS personnel.
