Fireworks Spark Fire At Hatboro Little League Complex
Hatboro Little League officials said a neighbor called the Horsham Fire Department before further damage happened Tuesday night.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —A phone call from a neighbor has Hatboro Little League officials thankful after there was a report of a fire at the complex Tuesday night.
Just before 10 p.m. Tuesday, the Horsham Township fire and police departments responded to Hatboro Little League Field on Blair Mill Road for the report of a woods/field fire, Horsham Community Police Services said Wednesday.
Horsham ChATs said the call was quickly handled and units returned to the station in a short time.

Hatboro Little League officials posted on Facebook that "we got very lucky we didn't lose our snack stand building."
Little League officials posted that everyone hears stories every year about "people who lack the maturity and/or intelligence to properly use and dispose of fireworks."

On Tuesday night, Little League officials said someone used fireworks at the complex and disposed of the hot trash in a recycling toter, which then shot up and spread to the edge of the roof of the pavilion at the complex.
"A huge thank you to Horsham FD and PD for their assistance," the post read.
Little League officials stated that no fireworks are allowed at the complex.
