Flags Honoring Veterans Destroyed At Montco Cemetery
Landscaping company workers reportedly mowed over the flags that honored fallen veterans at a Montgomery County cemetery.
HATBORO, PA – American flags honoring fallen veterans were found destroyed at a Montgomery County cemetery recently, prompting outrage from community members and an investigation into the incident.
NBC10 reports flags at the Hatboro Cemetery placed at veterans' graves were destroyed by a landscaping company that was working in the cemetery.
The outlet reports that company – BrightView Landscape Services – has since been fired as the cemetery's landscaper.

According to Action News, the company plans to replace the flags and that it's looking into how and why the flags were destroyed to make sure a similar incident does not happen.
Members of the Willow Grove American Legion Liberty Post 308 will be replacing the flags at the cemetery at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26.
