Participants use their body weight on an incline plane using a cable pulley system called GRAVITY (the commercial version of the Total Body Gym). Cable training has been one of the most effective means for resistance training since the 1920s. Our unique Gravity trainings increase functional strength conditioning through improving range of motion, core and joint stabilization/dynamic function, as well as improving flexibility, coordination, power, posture, and body awareness. Gravity Strength, Gravity Pilates, personal training and post-rehabilitation conditioning is safe for most ages from youth to adult, novice to professional athletes.
Free Gravity strength training and Gravity Pilates introductory classes will be held for members and non-members at the Horsham Athletic Club mid-January of 2014. Early sign-ups for small group trainings begin on December 16, 2013. There are 11 spots available in each introductory class. All introductory trainings will be 30 minutes and offer a full-body workout experience. Discounted packages will be offered to participants following the introductory workout.
Gravity training was originated by efi Sports Medicine(R) and is offered in over 14,000 clinics, schools, hospitals, athletic training centers, and health clubs worldwide. Horsham Athletic Club is the only fitness center in Philadelphia and the tri-state region to offer Gravity small group trainings.
