Garage Fire Contained At Horsham Home
Horsham Chats said the fire took place Thursday afternoon on Summit Avenue.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Fire crews were able to contain a blaze Thursday afternoon to a detached garage on Summit Avenue, authorities said.
Horsham Chats said the fire was reported just before 3 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Summit Avenue.

It was contained to the garage, which was a detached unit.
There was no damage to the home and no injuries were reported, Horsham Community Policing Services said.

The Horsham Township Fire Company extinguished the fire and all units cleared the scene about an hour later, Horsham Chats said.
The homeowner was assisted by the township's Department of Emergency Management.
Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania said that Quint 15, Ladder 15, Engine 95, Bucks Engine 92, Bucks Ladder 90, Squad 10, and Bucks Rescue 90 responded.
"We would like to thank our mutual aid companies (Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro and Warminster Fire Company) who assisted our Horsham Fire Company yesterday at the garage fire on Summit Avenue," Horsham Chats said. "Due to the quick work of all those who responded, there was minimal damage to the structure and most importantly no injuries. Thank you for your help and support."
