Garage Fire Under Investigation In Horsham

Horsham Township crews contained a fire on Limekiln Pike early Wednesday morning to a detached garage, authorities said.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Horsham Township Police Department is investigating the cause of an early Wednesday morning garage fire on Limekiln Pike.

Horsham Community Police Services said that emergency units responded to a working structure fire just before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday for a garage fire in the 900 Block of Limekiln Pike.

The Horsham Township Fire Department was able to contain the blaze to a detached garage, Horsham ChATs said. Additional units were also requested to assist the fire department.

Fire Police units closed Limekiln Pike at Welsh Road for several hours as units battled the fire.

There were no reported injuries.

The family was assisted by the township's Department of Emergency Management. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal.

"We would again like to thank our fire company and all our mutual aid agencies for their help and support at this incident," Horsham ChATs said.
