Get Involved in the Conversation about Heroin Addiction
Experts, former users and family members engage in "A Conversation About Heroin" on Nov. 15
Pennsylvania — like the rest of the nation – is in the throes of a heroin epidemic. Heroin addiction has spread to every area of the state and it does not discriminate by race, gender, age or income. The number of overdoses has increased dramatically, especially in the suburbs. Good information and awareness is one way to address the increase in use and addiction. Be Part of the Conversation has scheduled an event for parents and community members to learn more about the path to addiction, the signs of addiction and the road to recovery.
On Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 6:30 pm, “A Conversation About Heroin” will take place at the Horsham Township Community Center, 1025 Horsham Road, Ambler, PA.
The event features a panel of experts and special guests to promote candid and thoughtful conversation about building a culture of awareness and understanding to help stem the tide of addiction to heroin and other drugs.
