Since its inception in the fall of 2011, the foundation has raised more than $80,000 that it has put back into the community. In addition to granting more than 50 scholarships, the foundation has sent students to leadership conferences. The nonprofit organization has also visited 10 high schools to engage with youth about its mission to encourage responsible decision-making.
The popular foursome golf outing, which features lunch, dinner and open bar, is expected to sell out all 127 spots, Mrs. Coombs states. Non-golfers can purchase dinner-only tickets for $100.
