HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —While Halloween may be over, it may be just beginning for some children next year.
Horsham Township is asking residents to consider donating their children's Halloween costumes and has set up donation boxes at the Horsham Library and Horsham Township Building.

Township officials say they also have pumpkin recycling.
"Pumpkins, gourds, old mums, hay, and straw are great for composting," the township said in a Facebook post Wednesday. "If you are done with your fall decorations, please don't add them to a landfill."
The township said that the College Settlement Camp can take the pumpkins and other items.
They can be dropped off at the camp at 597 Witmer Rd. Look for the green and yellow sign that says "Overnight Camp and Outdoor School" and has an old John Deere tractor by the entrance.
Residents can pull up to the hay wagon/trailer and toss the pumpkins, hay, straw, or mums on the wagon or in the trailer. There is a sign at the drop point.
The camp composts some items and feeds others to their goats and chickens.
Township officials said the camp will not take other Halloween decorations such as plastic, scarecrows, or anything that cannot be fed or composted.
