Hallowell Elementary Planning Community Book Club Meetings
The book to be discussed is 'Rethinking Homework: Best Practices That Support Diverse Needs,' by Cathy Vatterott.

Hallowell Elementary School Principal Steve Glaize is reminding the community that the first meeting of the 2014-2015 Community Book Club will be held Thursday, Oct. 9 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Hallowell Library. The book club is in its seventh year and features topical discussions, dinner and child care.
The book for 2014-2015 is Rethinking Homework: Best Practices That Support Diverse Needs, by Cathy Vatterott. Chapter one will be discussed at the October meeting.
Book Club meetings are scheduled for October and November 2014 and January, February, March and April 2015. Meetings are begin at 5:30 PM on the same evenings Hallowell’s Home and School Association meets, allowing participants to attend the 7:00 PM Home and School meetings.
