Hatboro Appoints Borough Council Replacement
Erin McCuen was named to replace longtime Councilman George Bollendorf, who resigned last month to move out of Hatboro.

HATBORO, PA — During a special meeting on Wednesday night, Erin McCuen was appointed as a new member of the Hatboro Borough Council.
McCuen replaces longtime Councilman George Bollendorf, who stepped down after serving eight years to move out of the borough.
McCuen, a fourth-generation Hatboro resident, has been involved in numerous borough activities.

McCuen serves on the Board of the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce as vice president, helping connect organizations and strengthen community partnerships.
She's been involved with the Planning Commission, helping to rewrite the borough’s zoning ordinance.

McCuen is also the co-founder of HAT Packs, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing weekend meals to children experiencing food insecurity in the Hatboro-Horsham School District.
"We are very excited to be working with her," Borough Manager Diane C. Hegele said.
When she’s not working or volunteering, McCuen helps plan events such as the Hatboro Community Market, Chamber Connections, Moonlight Memories Car Show, Skeleton Skurry, and the Holiday Parade.
McCuen works as a pricing and contracts manager for a warehouse/retail mobility company, bringing a strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset to her role.
McCuen is married to husband James and is the mother of their daughter Madison, who was recently elected to the Hatboro-Horsham School Board. The family also has a rescue dog named Echo.
