Hatboro Councilman That Chased And Shot Bank Robber Identified
The hero-vigilante of Wednesday's incident, along with the man who allegedly robbed the bank, have been identified.

The Hatboro Councilman that shot the man that tried to rob the TD Bank on York Road on Wednesday morning has been identified, according to a multiple media sources.
George Forgeng, 60, who teachers high school technology and industrial arts in Levittown, is still being investigated, according to Philly.com.
Forgeng allegedly shot the suspected robber, Kevin Phillip-Johnson Way of Hatboro, in the hand and the arm after chasing him for nearly a mile on Wednesday morning, the Sentinel Republic said.

Foreng had a valid permit to carry a concealed weapon, according to the report.
Way was not armed, even though he led bank employees to believe he was while he committed the robbery, reports state.

He is still hospitalized in stable condition at Abington Memorial Hospital.
