Jim Worthington (Class of 1974), founder and president of the Hatboro-Horsham Alumni Association, has created an annual Hatboro-Horsham High School scholarship in the memory and honor of Grummun, a 1968 Hatboro-Horsham alumnus.
"Wally was one of a handful of individuals who helped found the H-H Alumni Association in 1989, whose main mission is to award scholarships annually to graduating H-H students who demonstrate the spirit and hardworking qualities of being a Hatter but also need a hand up to pursue their educational goals," Worthington said.

The “Wally Grummun” Scholarship will be given with the same qualities in mind, focusing on students pursuing a career in early education, outdoor recreation, nature, etc., "all areas that Wally was personally involved in and passionate about."
Worthington hopes through donations in Grummun's memory to raise $25,000, which would make the scholarship self-sustaining. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
