HATBORO-HORSHAM FACULTY AND STAFF CONTRIBUTE TO HATTERS' DISCOVERY HOUR
"Juggling for Beginners" Slated for Feb. 6

HORSHAM---In January, Hatboro-Horsham High School staff and faculty began offering a Friday pilot program called Hatters’ Discovery Hour. Organized by Robert Lochel, Hatboro-Horsham math teacher, the intent of Discovery Hour is to provide enriching experiences to all students outside of structured courses during HATS period.
The program began with a session offered by Dennis Steinly and Maya Goldberg, “Which America Do You Live in?” Sponsored by No Place for Hate, the discussion focused on race and equality in America.
Discovery Hour is currently scheduled through the end of February, with the following offerings:

· Friday, February 20: “Why is Your Patient Unconscious? Medical Assessment and Diagnosis” with Chris Baker

· Friday, February 27: “The Imitation Game – the Real Story of the Enigma” with Robert Lochel
“I look forward to having faculty and staff share their experiences and areas of expertise with students, outside of the structured classroom environment.” said Lochel.
