HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Hatboro-Horsham School Board has approved several projects related to the high school and the Keith Valley Middle School project.

During its monthly April regular meeting and work session, Facilities Committee Chairman David Brown presented several items to the board that were then unanimously approved.

  • Bid award of $674,505 to T. Schiefer Contractors, Inc. for the driveway replacement project and various other asphalt replacement projects at the high school. The project includes repaving the main entrance area, two side lots, and the access road to the athletic fields at the high school, certain areas of Simmons Elementary, and sealing and striping at all schools.
  • Bid award of $618,800 to Plymouth Environmental for asbestos abatement at KVMS before the old building is demolished.
  • Change order with Yates Electrical Services, Inc. for the HHHS fire alarm replacement project for $121,704 to complete the project in one summer instead of two (which was previously planned).
  • Bid award of $772,000 to CMG of Easton, Inc. for the restroom renovation project at HHHS.
  • Proposal from Roof Systems Consulting Company to provide roof installation consulting services for the KVMS project.
  • Proposal from Eleven Four Hundred, Inc. for a replacement storage freezer at HHHS.
  • Proposal from Pittsburgh Stage, Inc. to purchase and install an auditorium pit filler system for the HHHS auditorium.
